‘High Five’! It’s a brand new Sigrid video

Sigrid has shared a brand new video for her most recent single ‘High Five’.

The track, taken from the BBC Sound of 2018 winner’s ‘Raw’ EP, now has a high school inspired music video, with inspiration from a number of films.

In an interview about the clip with i-D, the video’s director Ivana Bobic name checks Spielberg flicks ‘E.T. and Close Encounters, as well as a love of “high school movies” in general.

“‘High Five’ is about the importance of being completely open and honest with each other,” explains Sigrid “We used high fives as an image of superficial relations. I love the tune, and there was such a good team behind it! Emily Warren, Martin Sjølie, Odd Martin Skålnes and I”

Sigrid is set to play festivals throughout the summer, including Parklife, TRNSMT and Reading & Leeds. Check out the video for ‘High Five’, and those dates, below.
