Holly Humberstone has released another absolute gem with new track ‘Overkill’

It’s another statement of intent from Holly, following on from standout releases 'Falling Asleep At The Wheel' and 'Deep End'

Holly Humberstone’s unstoppable rise continues with new number ‘Overkill’

A spinning track full of earnest emotion and subtle hooks that make you want to sit back and listen over and over again, ‘Overkill’ is the latest track to be revealed from the 20-year-old after the runaway success of ‘Falling Asleep At The Wheel’ and ‘Deep End’

Speaking about the video, which sees Holly go for a bit of a late-night run through woods and all sorts, Holly explains: “The video for ‘Overkill’ was a pretty weird experience. Lockdown meant that we couldn’t shoot a professional video, so we had to improvise a little!! My sister Eleri and I took an old VHS camera out at dusk into a forest near our home and she had me follow her through the trees, as I played along to ‘Overkill’. It was basically my version of the 5k run except I had no idea where I was going and it was impossible to see anything and not to trip!”

Expected to feature as a part of an EP set for release later in the year, Holly Humberstone is currently set to play two sold-out nights at London’s Omeara on November 5th + 6th. Get on board early, Holly Humberstone is set to take over…
