Holly Humberstone has a go on a roundabout for her new ‘The Walls Are Way Too Thin (Spinning Out My Mind)’ video

Don't watch if roundabouts make you feel a bit ill. You've been warned.

Recent Dork cover star Holly Humberstone has dropped a video for her latest track, ‘The Walls Are Way Too Thin (Spinning Out My Mind)’.

“I wrote ‘The Walls Are Way Too Thin’ about a time in my life when I felt like I’d lost control of where I was heading and struggling to find my place in the world,” Holly explains. “I’d just moved to a small London flat and felt claustrophobic and alone. To avoid confronting how I was feeling I’d sneak out the flat and go on train journeys to see my mates, get drunk, then come back hungover through the night and early hours. I wrote most of the Walls and the songs that come next on those trains. It was my place of therapy, in the middle of nowhere, constantly moving with no destination.”

The video arrives ahead of loads of tour and festival dates for later this year, including several sold out shows at London’s Omeara.

‘The Walls Are Way Too Thin’ follows-up on previous single ‘Haunted House’, and comes ahead of a much-anticipated second EP, set to drop later this year. That’s the one that will feature Holly’s co-write with The 1975’s Matty Healy, FYI.

Holly Humberstone is the cover star of the June issue of Dork. You can order a copy here, or sign up to our Dork Supporters scheme here.
