Hookworms have announced their new album ‘Microshift’

They’re making a live comeback, too.
Hookworms have announced their new album.

‘Microshift’ will be released on 2nd February, with first single ‘Negative Space’ available now below. ‘Microshift’ was written and recorded after the band were forced to rebuild their Suburban Homes Studio in Leeds following a severe flood in 2015. Speaking about the record, Hookworms’ MJ said “All of our records are to an extent about mental health. Largely this is an album about loss but also about maturing, accepting your flaws and the transience of intimacy.”

Hookworms will play Hebden Bridge Trades Club at the end of this month and Leeds’ Brudenell Community Room in December, before heading out on a full tour early in 2018. You can check out tour details under the player.
