Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor has announced details of a brand new solo album, ‘Beautiful Thing’.

The record - set for release on 20th April - follows up on 2017's 'Listen With(out) Piano', itself a rearrangement of 2016's 'Piano'.

The record – set for release on 20th April – follows up on 2017’s ‘Listen With(out) Piano’, itself a rearrangement of 2016’s ‘Piano’.



Produced by DFA Records founder Tim Glodsworthy, it’s the first time Taylor has collaborated with an external producer on his solo abums. The news comes alongside a video for the record’s title track, which you can check out below.






Taylor is set to hit the road this spring around the release of the record, kicking off in Bristol on 17th April, finishing up in Paris on the 26th. The dates read:
