Gracie Abrams is the second name to join Dork’s Hype List 2022

We're revealing the new names on our 2022 tips list throughout the day.

Today (Friday 19th November), we’re building up to the reveal of our bumper end of term double issue by announcing the acts that make up our annual Hype List – and it’s time to let you know who’s next out of the blocks.

A rundown of some of the new acts we’re excited about for the twelve months ahead, we’ll be revealing a new name every half hour up until 5pm GMT, introducing you to the names you need to stick in your playlists so you’re not left lagging behind come January 2022. You can keep track of it all at our special Hype List mini-site here.

Next up to be revealed is a legitimate superstar in waiting. Gracie Abrams may come from successful stock, but working with Aaron Dessner and delivering countless bops of all flavours, she’s one of the hottest names on the planet right now. Oh, and spoiler alert, we did the interview from Long Pond Studio. Yes. That one. The same one as… yep. There you go. Superstar.

You’ll be able to read the full Hype List interview in our new issue, out later today. Dork Supporters can grab it now, though, live in their Supporters’ Area, or read it here. If you want to get access before it goes free to read for all later this year, you can sign up and support pop nonsense here. You can order the new double issue of Dork below. We’ll be revealing the full rundown of what’s in there at 5pm GMT. Check back at 10:00am GMT for the next new Hype List name!
