Iceland Airwaves has announced a livestream festival ‘Live From Reykjavik’ next month

  • October 16, 2021

Iceland Airwaves has announced a livestream festival for next month.

The one-day event ‘Live From Reykjavik’ will take place on 6th November, after the main Iceland Airwaves festival was postponed to November 2022 due to the pandemic.

It’ll be the second year a livestream has replaced the festival, after last year’s edition was also postponed.

The bill for ‘Live From Reykjavik’ includes John Grant, Ásgeir, Laufey, GDRN, Daughters of Reykjavík and BSÍ, performing in Iceland Airwaves-affiliated venues Iðnó, Gamla Bío, Gaukurinn and Frikirkjan.

Starting at 8pm GMT on Saturday, 6th November, it’ll be available for 24 hours. Tickets go on sale next Wednesday, 20th October.

You can find more details in the tweet below.
