Iceland Airwaves has signed up local pop star Daði Freyr to perform at this year’s event

It'll take place this November.

Iceland Airwaves has signed up local pop star Daði Freyr to perform at this year’s event.

Taking place from 4th-7th November in Reykjavik, he joins a line-up that also features Metronomy, Courtney Barnett, Black Pumas, Dry Cleaning, The Murder Capital, Squid and more.

“I can’t wait to be performing again at my favourite music festival of all time,” he says, “there is something special about Airwaves. I can’t wait to show you my new live set.”

As of this Monday 15th June, Iceland is once again ‘open for business’ with its borders re-opening following the outbreak of COVID-19.
