Yep, the posi-punk’s new album ‘Joy As An Act Of Resistance’ has crashed into the Official UK Album Charts at number five after a strong midweek showing had them competing with Eminem for the top slot – and they didn’t even have to make any slurs to do it. See, Marshall? We don’t all have to be angry pillocks.
Also coming in as the week’s best selling vinyl release (because obviously, right? – Ed), it beat The Kooks’ new record ‘Let’s Go Sunshine’, which entered at nine. Elsewhere, Anna Calvi scored an impressive highest chart ranking to-date at 22 with ‘The Hunter’. Well done, Anna!
