iKON have joined the roster of 143 Entertainment, and are set to return later this year.
After announcing their departure from YG Entertainment on December 30, all six members of the group have now signed to the new agency. The move comes as iKON are reportedly preparing to make a comeback this April with a new album. Though neither the band nor their new agency have confirmed the news, it would mark their first release since last May’s album ‘Flashback’.
Producer DM, who runs 143 Entertainment and has worked with the band musically over a long period of time, explained: “I feel reassured to have iKON, who possess a unique talent and energy, as part of our family. In the future, we will actively support them in all areas so that they can carry out their music activities freely.”

The boyband also shared a message of their own, expressing their gratitude for the ongoing support of their fans and expressing their excitement for the future: “We will continue iKON’s music more passionately to repay the warm support and love you have given us until now.”
143 Entertainment is already home to a number of artists, including rookie girl group LIMELIGHT, Kep1er members Kang Ye-seo and Mashiro, and South Korean rapper Dok2, who signed an exclusive contract with the agency in 2022.
