INHEAVEN ‘do’ Reading & Leeds: “We will be wearing socks on our private parts”

In honour of their day's headliner, you see...
INHEAVEN are another band off on tour this September and October, with a lengthy run of dates; but before then, they’re playing Reading & Leeds.

“We’ve dreamed of playing Reading & Leeds since we were teens,” say the band. “Kind of a dream come true for us. Spent many years there as fans so to be up on stage is mind blowing.”

The band play Reading later today (Saturday 27th August) and then Leeds tomorrow (Sunday 28th August) on the Festival Republic Stage, alongside Beach Baby, Tuff Love, VANT, LANY, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Lapsley, Palace, Brian Fallon and more (phew).

“The great thing about festivals is catching up with bands you’ve played with over the past year,” they continue. “The Magic Gang, Sundara Karma, Vant to name but a few!”

And it seems they’re also taking inspiration from today’s headliner for their set… “In honour of Red Hot Chili Peppers we will be wearing socks on our private parts for the duration of the set.”

As for their plans for the rest of the year? “We will be playing ’til we drop dead, and releasing loads of music. Plus putting out more of our own videos and fanzines. Woohoo.”
