Interpol have started work on their 7th studio album.

The band have announced they’ve got going on the follow up to 2018’s ‘Marauder’, working with legendary producers Flood & Moulder, whose work together includes Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins, as well as Foals’ 2014 classic ‘Holy Fire’.

“We are overjoyed to announce Flood & Moulder will be producing and mixing the next Interpol record,” Daniel Kessler said. “We are longtime admirers of their work and delighted to be in the studio with them. Starting this party right.”

The full-length is being worked on in London, and is expected to arrive next year on Matador Records.
