Interpol talk new album, Carlos D and more in new Beats 1 interview

There’s “not been any discussion” about the bassist returning for the 'Turn On The Bright Lights' tour.
Interpol have confirmed that Carlos D won’t be returning to the fold for their forthcoming ‘Turn On The Bright Lights’ anniversary tour.

Speaking to Matt Wilkinson on Beats 1, frontman Paul Banks revealed that there’s “not been any discussion”.

“I really think Carlos is doing his own thing now,” he explained “I understand why people would be interested in that, but the reality is, the social dynamic … is that I don’t have any contact with Carlos.”

As part of the show, which is set to go out today (6th May) at 5pm BST, Banks also discusses Interpol’s new album. You can check out a couple of clips below.
