Interpol have scheduled a handful of UK shows for this summer

Interpol have announced a string of UK dates as part of their upcoming European tour.

The band, who released their seventh album ‘The Other Side of Make-Believe’ last year, will play five headline shows in Brighton, Leeds, Edinburgh, Bristol and Liverpool.

Support will be provided by new Matador label-mates Water From Your Eyes.

The tour will also see the trio play appearances at Best Kept Secret, Rock Werchter and Low festival. They will also play a special one-off show to headline Days Off Festival in Paris to perform their second album ‘Antics’.

Interpol’s full list of summer live shows is as follows, with newly announced dates in bold:

MAY

25-28 – Walton Upon Trent, Bearded Theory
28 – Brighton Dome, Brighton
29 – O2 Leeds Academy, Leeds
