Is there ‘Somebody Better’ than Black Honey’s blistering new one? Naah, it’s pretty untouchable

Released alongside further new track ‘Cadillac’, it’s the sound of a band once again taking no prisoners
Black Honey have carved themselves a pretty brilliant place within our hearts. A glossy, cinematic place that means whenever they come a-calling, we’re rushing to the front. So here we are, at the front, with Black Honey unveiling the swaggering new cut ‘Somebody Better’.

Like jumping straight onto a moving train as it hurtles down the track, it’s a galloping moment of intent from the band – bristling with an incredible confidence that sounds destined to take them to the biggest stages for a very long time. And that to us, sounds like a bloody perfect gaze into the crystal ball if we ever did see one.

‘Somebody Better’ has been unveiled with another new track called ‘Cadillac’ – a more measured groover that gazes with its shades on and doesn’t falter from start to finish. Showcasing those various bows to the Black Honey arrow, all we know is that they’re heading right for the bullseye.

Both tracks are going to sound incredible when Black Honey heads out on their biggest UK headline tour to date at the end of March – storming their way through a string of dates which include a big ‘ol night at London’s Village Underground, a homecoming night at The Haunt in Brighton and a special Dork Live show in Reading on April 2nd (which y’know, will be all sorts of brilliant). You can find out more on the show right here.

The band are then set for some festival-stealing performances throughout the summer, with slots at Live At Leeds and The Great Escape already on the cards.

Take Black Honey’s hand and find ‘Somebody Better’ in a new ‘Cadillac’ below (I know, sometimes we can really nail these things).
