Isaac Gracie has returned, and shared new track ‘The Man Who Flew Into Space’.
It marks his first new music since his ‘close up – looking down’ EP in 2018.
Speaking about his hiatus, and new music, Isaac said: “For the first time I didn’t feel like I was capable of giving myself to music, as it can be quite a totalising engagement. But I missed playing shows, doing new things and meeting new people. Music became, and exists, as a means to connect and ingratiate with others which is kind of invaluable.
“I wrote The Man Who Flew Into Space with my brother. It was one of the first instances of us collaborating. He possesses the sharpest of minds and helped me to unspool the doubt knots in my brain. In this case it was a negotiation with death in a way, the will to death set against a cosmic backdrop inspired by the Suprematist themes I’d been getting into.”
Alongside the new single, Isaac has also announced a UK tour which has already sold out across the board.
