Izzy Camina has released ‘Alprazalam’, and announced that her new EP ‘ANG3L NUMB3RS’ will drop early next year.

Izzy has shared her first single since ‘Freak Baby’, and it comes with the news that she will be releasing a new EP, ‘ANG3L NUMB3RS’, in early 2023. ‘Alprazalam’, which Izzy co-produced with Aaron C Harmon, sees the LA-born artist continue in a new direction since her debut EP ‘Nihilist In The Club’ was released back in 2020.

The single drop includes a brand new video by the artist, which sees her take on the role of a crab to speak to the otherworldly quality of the track. Watch the full video below.

Discussing her forthcoming EP, Izzy explains: “This EP is a tongue in cheek commentary on the collective-pseudo psychosis surrounding our inevitable demise, along with some anecdotal experiences of my own, in relation to love, desperation, and a need to feel safe or “watched over” in these end-times. I notice that young people, girls especially, are being handed cookbook “spirituality” via Tiktok and Instagram algorithm. “Angel numbers”, manifestation, tarot, and a return to traditionally Pagan/OG esoteric belief systems.”

“Ironically, technology is the vehicle by which we are delivered psychological snake oil. ‘ANG3L NUMB3RS’ is for lost souls who are searching for something to believe in amidst this collective mania. It is for those of us that walk the line, dancing between the binary of faith and hopelessness. A deep liberation as we let go, scream, dance, and seize the day before it ends, preferably at 160 BPM.”

The release follows Izzy’s collaboration with fashion house Celine earlier this year, having produced the soundtrack for their SS22 show.
