Jack White is going to be on US telly next week

  • Dork News Desk
  • September 3, 2016
Jack White is set to make his first ever solo live appearance on US telly next week.

White is currently on somewhat of a live hiatus – with only a couple of TV appearances since April of last year – but will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday, September 9th.

It’s to push his new album, ‘Jack White Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016’, which features acoustic versions (well, obv – Ed) of tracks from across his back catalogue. Yes, including The White Stripes. It’ll be released on the same day as his appearance on the show.

It’s not the only TV appearance he has planned, either. He’ll be making to run over to the UK to appear on the first episode of Later… With Jools Holland the week after.

You can check out ‘City Lights’, an unused White Stripes song originally written for 2005’s ‘Get Behind Me Satan’, below.
