South Korean post rock band Jambinai released their new album ‘a Hermitage’ earlier this year through Bella Union.
Today they share a video for majestic seven-minute epic ‘The Mountain’, taken from the release – check it out below, first on Dork. The clip was shot in one setting using six cameras, all turning in the same direction at the same speed.
“The video is a collaborative project between MMCA [National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea] and seoul-based Artistic Agency COMPANY F, home to one of the hottest film directors Nightshift,” explain the band.
“Filmed during a 30 minute live set at the MMCA the video is an exploration into the everlasting flow of time through the use of visual effects, the flow of the camera and the interaction between band and audience.”
