James Acaster’s Temps have shared a new single, ‘ificouldjust’

The new track follows on from the previous releases 'no,no', 'bleedthemtoxins' and 'partygatorresurrection'.

Temps, the 40-person music collective formed by the comedian James Acaster, have unveiled their latest single, ‘ificouldjust’, featuring contributions from the likes of Yoni Wolf, Quelle Chris, Shamir, Montaigne and Ami Dang.

The new single follows on from the previous releases ‘no,no’, ‘bleedthemtoxins’ and ‘partygatorresurrection’, and is the latest offering from their upcoming album ‘PARTY GATOR PURGATORY’.

Speaking about the track, Acaster explains: “Like all of us, the party gator often wishes they possessed a little more self-motivation but instead they find themselves repeating the same behaviour for what feels like the rest of time. Also, I once again cannot believe we got all these people on the same track.”

The project has been put together following Acaster’s 2019 book ‘Perfect Sound Whatever’, which documented the comedian’s extensive collection of 2016 albums and resulted in connections with many of the artists that now form part of Temps.
