James Blake has properly released his cover of Frank Ocean’s ‘Godspeed’.
The stripped-down piano-led rendition – which has been doing pretty well on ‘the TikToks’ – was originally performed via Instagram Live.
It follows on from Blake’s track ‘Are You Even Real?’, which was co-written by Starrah, Ali Tamposi and Blake, and released as part of Apple’s “Behind The Mac” campaign.
Along with recent track ‘You’re Too Precious’, the songs mark Blake’s first new material since the release of his fourth album, ‘Assume Form’, which landed last year.
