James Blake has shared his new track, ‘Life Is Not The Same’

His new album's coming in September.

James Blake has shared his new single, ‘Life Is Not The Same’.

It’s a track from his new album ‘Friends That Break Your Heart’, which follows up on 2020’s ‘Before’ and ‘Covers’ EPs, as well as his 2019 album ‘Assume Form’.

Set for release on 10th September, it’s already seen him drop ‘Say What You Will’, as well as a video featuring Finneas.

The track “gives a larger view of what’s to come on the album,” a press release explains. “Featuring introspective lyrics and a dreamlike melody, the track proves Blake’s masterful range and bold vulnerability that’s defined by this concept album.”
