James Righton has dropped his new synth-pop number, ‘Release Party’

It's the former Klaxon's first new song since last year's album 'The Performer'.

James Righton‘s shared his new single ‘Release Party’.

His first new single since last year’s album ‘The Performer’, it’s a Scissor Sisters-y synth-pop number about “tension and release and the dreams and fantasies we make,” he explains.

‘Release Party’ also features as one of the three exclusive tracks on ‘Foundations’, the 27-track compilation album from Soulwax’s label DEEWEE, released tomorrow, Friday 7th May.
