Jamie xx says he needs to slow down

"I can't keep going like this," he explains.
Jamie xx has had prolific few years: from albums under both his own name and that of his band (The xx), to soundtracks and various art projects.

He released his solo album ‘In Colour’ last year, and of late he’s been concentrating on the score for a ballet based on Jonathan Safran Foer’s Tree of Codes.

The xx are also working on their third album; the follow up to 2009’s self-titled debut, and 2012’s ‘Coexist’.

Now, he says, he’s thinking about slowing down. “I’ve never made so much music in my life as I am now,” he tells Pitchfork. “It’s good, but I can’t keep going like this.”

Take a holiday, mate.
