Janelle Monáe has signed up for a few new acting projects.
The first is Disney’s live-action and CGI remake of Lady and the Tramp, where she joins Tessa Thompson, Justin Theroux and more as part of the voice cast. She’ll play Peg, a stray that Lady meets at the pound.
In addition to that, she’s also slated for an upcoming Harriet Tubman biopic titled Harriet, and an animated adaptation of the Uglydoll which already stars Pitbull and Nick Jonas.
The news follows the release of Janelle’s most recent album ‘Dirty Computer’, which arrived earlier this year.
