Apparently, it follows the “story of a young woman named Jane 57821 (Monáe), who is living in a totalitarian near-future society where citizens are referred to as ‘computers’.”

The 44-minute long film, Dirty Computer: An Emotion Picture By Janelle Monáe will co-star Tessa Thompson, who also recently featured in the video for Monáe’s collab with Grimes, ‘Pynk’.
