Jelani Blackman has dropped a new video for ‘Izit’

It features Mercury Prize shortlisted artist Kojey Radical

Jelani Blackman has released a video for his latest single, ‘Izit’, featuring Kojey Radical.

Released at the end of 2022, ‘Izit’ followed on from single ‘Comfy’. Directed by Aychics, it signals that more music is on the way from the London-based rapper and singer.

Speaking on the video, Jelani explains: “Like the song, this video is a comment on our consistently more dystopian society. People are always being watched, just snapshots of data, while we’re also beginning to see A.I impacting on the physical environment we live in – how things are advertised and designed. It’s a direction that raises a lot of questions for the future. Was sick to do it with my guy Kojey, we both keep saying how mad it’s gonna be playing the track together live. This video was the first time we’ve performed it and you can see the energy.”
