Jesca Hoop has dropped her new single ‘Outside Of Eden’, which features Kate Stables from This Is The Kit.
It’s the latest track from her upcoming record ‘Stonechild’, due 5th July via Memphis Industries. The release has also spawned previous tracks ‘Shoulder Charge’ and ‘Red, White & Black’.
Hoop describes ‘Outside Of Eden’ as “true to folk as I’m able to write, not in that ‘old ye folk’ type of way, but rather in the way that a folk song functions as a mirror of for us….in our time…and tells the tale. I see it as a feminist anthem; We big sisters encouraging our shut-in boys to love the very real, the very living, and breathing girl.”
