Jimi Somewhere embraces nighttime grooves with his new track, ‘Dusk’

Jimi Somewhere has released his latest single, ‘Dusk’.

Out today (Friday, 11th October) via Nextwave/Ultra Records, it’s the Norwegian’s first new material since the release of his debut EP, ‘Ponyboy’, last spring.

“My producer and I, Milo Orchis, made Dusk in LA,” says Jimi. “We pulled an all-nighter and the whole song was basically done by the time the morning came. I remember halfway through the session in the early hours of the following morning, we took a break and walked around the neighbourhood, I was so inspired by the feeling that walk gave me that I wrote the lyrics around it.

“Not being English, I also thought that dusk meant sunrise, not sunset, but when my management told me a couple of months later, it didn’t feel right to change it. I’m so happy with how this one sounds.”
