Joe & The Shitboys are delivering a message with new track ‘Save The Planet You Dumb Shit’

  • Stephen Ackroyd
  • October 12, 2021

Joe & The Shitboys have dropped a brand new track, the quite delightfully titled ‘Save The Planet You Dumb Shit’.

Frontman Joe explains: “‘Save the Planet You Dumb Shit’ is about all the small things you can do to clean up our world so our grandchildren can live without worrying about the ozone layer. Like reusing a plastic bag at the grocery store, before you stop at McDonalds on your way home in your Jeep.”

The track comes alongside news of a second album, ‘The Reson For Hardcore Vibes (Again)’, which follows up on last years ‘The Reson For Hardcore Vibes’. Yeah, see? Genius.

Formed with the intention of calling out the shitty behaviour of homophobes and misogynists in the conservative Faroe Islands, the four-piece have been fostering a reputation as a fearsomely good live act. Featuring the already revealed ‘Pull The Trigger’, ‘Manspredator’ and ‘Closeted HomoFObe’, the album will be released on 16th November via Tutl Records, and is available to pre-order now on 7″ pink vinyl.

You can check out ‘Save The Planet You Dumb Shit’ below.
