Johnny Lloyd announces new EP ‘Eden’ with the shimmering lead number ‘Running Wild’

Out on April 14th, the EP was produced by none other than The Maccabees’ Hugo White
Returning with sweet gazes, ex-Tribes frontman Johnny Lloyd has unveiled his second solo EP ‘Eden’ whilst debuting dazzling new cut ‘Running Wild’

Brimming with starry-eyed dreaming, it’s the dazzling number you’ll hear flowing from the dimly-lit bars on a Thursday night – full of a charm and an all-encompassing hook that draws you right into Johnny’s world. The sound of a man enjoying every edge and flourish has never sounded so good.

‘Eden’ is set for release on April 14th, standing as Johnny Lloyd’s second solo EP after the release of last year’s ‘Dreamland’ – with the new collection produced by Hugo White of The Maccabees and Mike Crossey (aka the guy behind the decks for The 1975 and Wolf Alice’s latest ones). Chatting about the EP, Johnny said:

“It was great working with Hugo White and Mike Crossey again. The Eden EP was recorded over a period of 6 months- Hugo brought so much to it and really put the hours in. ‘Running Wild’ was written in reaction to the live shows- for me the songs about being free and trying to find a place in the world. I’m very happy with how it’s sounding, and looking forward to people hearing it.”

Johnny Lloyd will bring the serenading kicks to a UK headline tour to mark the EP’s release, spanning seven dates around the country including a big ‘ol night at London’s Scala on April 20th.
