Johnny Marr has announced two book events in support of his upcoming autobiography, Set the Boy Free.
He’ll take part in the Manchester Literary Festival on 7th November, followed by a date at the Barbican in London with The Guardian on 10th November.
The book is a “candid account of his journey from the council estates of Wythenshawe through The Smiths’ tumultuous climb to the spotlight, breakup and beyond,” reads the blurb.
Set The Boy Free will be published by Century on 3rd November.
