Jump right into Diet Cig’s new track ‘Link In Bio’

Fizzing with energy, it’s a glowing sign that debut LP ‘Swear I’m Good At This’ is going to be a screamer
When Diet Cig drop new tracks, they kick the bloody doors in – and they’ve done it again with new cut ‘Link In Bio’

Ripping with that straight to the bone realness, ‘Link In Bio’ only needs two minutes to take over your mind for the rest of the day. As in, it’s pretty much cancelled out anything we were thinking about before we wrapped our ears around it.

Diving into the track, Alex from the duo explained how “‘Link In Bio’ unpacks this idea that women + femmes should be any specific way and says uh NO. It’s an extra special fuck you to the notion of a ‘chill girl’ that I swear was created by cis men to make women + femmes feel bad about voicing their feelings. It’s me screaming that it’s okay to be loud and bossy and sensitive and kind and weird and angry and ecstatic and literally any other emotion that you feel because YOU ARE A RADIANT AND NUANCED HUMAN BEING WHO IS GOING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD <3.”

Following on from ‘Tummy Ache’ and ‘Barf Day’, ‘Link In Bio’ is taken from Diet Cig’s incoming debut LP ‘Swear I’m Good At This’ – set for release on April 7th. It’s an absolute gem, hence why we got chatting with the guys in this month’s magazine – which you can pick up right ‘ere.
