Kaiser Chiefs provide the John Barnes / Christine and the Queens mash up we’ve all been waiting for

It's so obvious we should all have been doing it.
Kaiser Chiefs have covered Christine and the Queens’ ‘Tilted’.

The band performed their version of the track during a session for Dermot O’Leary on BBC Radio 2 at the weekend. Rather than do the French rappy part, though, frontman Ricky Wilson added his own version of John Barnes’ rap from New Order’s ‘World in Motion’. The delivery is pretty Robbie Williams-esque, too. Should have just gone for ‘Rudebox’, really.

The band also performed their latest single ‘Hole In My Soul’, taken from their new album ‘Stay Together’, set for release on October 7th.
