King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have dropped a new track, ‘Boogieman Sam’

  • Dork News Desk
  • March 28, 2019

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have dropped another new track from their forthcoming album ‘Fishing For Fishies’.

Set to arrive next month, ‘Boogieman Sam’ follows up on the album’s title track and ‘Cyboogie’. You can check out the new song below.

“We tried to make a blues record,” frontman Stu Mackenzie explains. “A blues-boogie-shuffle-kinda-thing, but the songs kept fighting it – or maybe it was us fighting them. Ultimately though we let the songs guide us this time; we let them have their own personalities and forge their own path. Paths of light, paths of darkness. This is a collection of songs that went on wild journeys of transformation.”
