King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard unveil new video for ‘Intrasport’

  • Dork News Desk
  • November 20, 2020

Keeping busy? Well King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are here to lead the way on that front, unveiling a brand new video for latest track ‘Intrasport’ alongside news of a new concert film

Marking the release of the band’s brand new album ‘K.G’ (the 17th of their career), the new video for ‘Intrasport’ sees all sorts go on in an apartment (we’ve all been there). Director John Angus Stewart explains: “The clip was shot in my tiny studio apartment. For the main reason that it’s the smallest place I know that someone lives in. The aim was to find the 50/50 split: feeling lonely at a party but surrounded by people. Feeling like you are the only one there and that nobody really understands you (but you still have to bring it). I used 35mm anamorphic to give the small space as much panoramic effect as I could muster. Sometimes the smallest of spaces feel huge when you are partying, why do you think everyone always gathers in the kitchen or bathroom!”

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have also released a brand new live album today (Friday 20th November), with ‘Live In Francisco ’16’. The band will take things up a whole other level, with news of an accompany live concert film for the album available to watch from Wednesday 25th November. More details, and ticket purchase info for the film can be found here

To whet the appetite, have a peek at the previously unveiled ‘Evil Death Roll’ taken from the live album/film below – served with a cracking taste of ‘Instrasport’ too – absolutely spoilt for choice or what?!?!
