Kurt Vile makes a nuisance of himself in the video for his new track, ‘Loading Zones’

It turns out Kurt Vile is both very bad at parking, and has new music.

Following on from his car-themed teasing a few days ago, Kurt Vile has dropped a new song called ‘Loading Zones’.

The track comes with a Drew Saracco-directed video that features Kevin Corrigan (Goodfellas, True Romance, Superbad) and Matt Korvette (Pissed Jeans), and Kurt making a nuisance of himself by parking in loading zones.

There’s no news yet about his next full-length, but he’s thought to be working on the follow-up to 2015 album ‘b’lieve I’m goin down…’, and last year’s Courtney Barnett collaboration, ‘Lotta Sea Lice’.

Kurt’s also off on tour soon, kicking off in Denmark on 12th October, and arriving in the UK the following month for a short jaunt that includes two nights at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire:

05 Concorde 2 – Brighton, UK
06 Shepherd’s Bush Empire – London, UK
07 Shepherd’s Bush Empire – London, UK

09 The Crossing – Birmingham, UK
