L Devine has shared a brand new track, ‘Miscommunikaty’.

The song follows up on her previous single ‘Push It Down’, which arrived earlier this year.

“For me, ‘Miscommunikaty’ is about feeling disconnected in an overly connected world,” she explains. “There are so many means to communicate with and yet so rarely do I feel I’m truly communicating who I am and how I feel.

“Sonically I think this song encompasses the sound I’ve been harnessing over the past few years making my new project, a blend of raw live sounds with electronic samples and glitchy vocal manipulation. The new music feels like it was made to be heard live.

“I got a real taste for that on the run of shows I just came back from, they were definitely my most energetic yet. To play a setlist of new, unreleased songs to such a buzzing and engaged crowd makes me so excited to come back out again after people have lived with the new material.”

The track comes alongside a video directed by Emilio Gamal Boutros, which continues the online/offline narrative started with the clip for ‘Push It Down’. An upcoming third track will complete the set.
