Labrinth and Billie Eilish have teamed up for a new song, ‘Never Felt So Alone’

"When we spoke, she was like, 'Lab, I’ve been listening to your music for years.'"

Labrinth has enlisted the help of Billie Eilish for his latest track, ‘Never Felt So Alone’.

The collaboration was discussed in an interview with Eddie Francis on Apple Music 1, where Labrinth shared his admiration for the ‘bury a friend’ singer.

“I’ve been a fan of Billie for a long time,” he said. “I remember Noah [Cyrus] was doing some of the same shows Billie was in that time, and everybody kept on coming back talking about this Billie Eilish girl.”

Labrinth had already started piecing the song together when he thought that Billie would be a great addition. He sent it to her, and was surprised to find out that she had been a fan of his music for years.

“When we spoke, she was like, ‘Lab, I’ve been listening to your music for years.’ I was like, ‘What? You?'” he said. “She was like, ‘Yeah, been a fan. I love this song as well, so I would love to do it with you.’ That was big for me because I felt like we both get each other musically. It didn’t feel foreign to me, and I love what she’s done on the record.”
