The Last Shadow Puppets look set for a second UK Number One album

It'll be Alex Turner's seventh chart topper. Not that he's gloating or anything.
The Last Shadow Puppets look set to score a Number One album this week, leading their nearest competition by more than 5,000 ‘units’.

Alex Turner and Miles Kane’s second album – their first together since 2008’s ‘The Age of the Understatement’, is ahead of Lukas Graham’s self-titled record, with Pet Shop Boys currently at three with ‘Super’.

Elsewhere Black Stone Cherry are at four, with Babymetal’s ‘Metal Resistance’ at seven. Weezer’s self-titled ‘White’ album is at 16.

If The Last Shadow Puppets keep up their lead, it will be their second Number One album, and Alex Turner’s seventh in total. Show off.
