Laundromat has unveiled a brand new single, ‘Combo’

The new song comes ahead of a headline show at London's Servant Jazz Quarters later this month, before heading off on the road with Villagers.

Laundromat – AKA Toby Hayes – has shared a new brand new single, ‘Combo’.

Speaking about the track, he explains: “I recorded a few parts with my guy Jack from Penelope Isles – the bass guitar we used was a real nice old Telecaster, sounded mint but it was rusty as hell – thought I might need a tetanus after tracking that. We recorded a bunch of other random noises with Omnichords and such, but they didn’t end up making the cut. I think the lyrics came about as a result of spending too much time disconnected from people over the last couple of years. Like the feeling when you have spent waaaay too much time on your phone… vacuous and rank.”

The new song comes ahead of a headline show at London’s Servant Jazz Quarters later this month, before heading off on the road with Villagers.
