Lauren Auder has debuted a video for her new single ‘Heathen’.

Directed by Layo Mussi, Lauren reveals the track is “my favourite song I’ve ever worked on,” explaining that it’s about “longing for a test run before life proper. Learning to accept that all we get is a 9-month-long bomb shelter before you’re very much in the world.”

So there we go.

The track is taken from her recent EP ‘5 Songs for the Dysphoric’, her first body of work she’s written since publicly coming out as trans. Seeing Lauren collaborate with producers/co-writers like Danny L Harle (Charli XCX, Clairo), Tobias Jesso Jr (HAIM, King Princess), and Clams Casino (Vince Staples, Lil B), it also features previously released singles ‘Quiet’, ‘Animal’ and ‘Unseen’.
