LCD Soundsystem pull shows to record new album

Aussie and Asian shows held back due to "studio scheduling conflicts".
LCD Soundsystem are reported to have cancelled their 2016 Australian and Asian tour before it was even announced, after a Hong Kong festival announced the band had pulled out.

In a statement posted to Facebook, Hong Kong’s Clockenflap Festival claims LCD backed out of their event, as well as an Aussie tour, due to “studio scheduling conflicts related to their new album”.

“LCD Soundsystem have had to cancel their upcoming Asian & Australian tour at the end of the year, now including their appearance at Clockenflap 2016,” the festival says. “We are as disappointed as you are with this news. We wish them all the best with their recording and look forward to welcoming them to Hong Kong at another time.”

If you’re not from Australia or Asia, that just means that fourth LCD full-length is getting closer. Sorry guys. Party time over here.
