Quite probably one of the most exciting, Really Rather Brilliant pair of popsters on the planet, Let’s Eat Grandma are back with a brand new single – their first in three years.
Titled ‘Hall Of Mirrors’, it’s a typically blissed-out shard of future pop, and was given a first play on BBC Radio 1 last night.
Speaking about the song, and its accompanying video, Rosa Walton explains: “I wanted to use the setting of a fairground at night to describe the dizziness, intensity and excitement of being with a woman I had strong feelings for, and the hall of mirrors as a metaphor for discovering and exploring parts of myself that I was bringing to life. In some ways it’s reflective and almost secretive, journeying through confusing and difficult emotions, but I also wanted Hall of Mirrors to be a euphoric song that conveys clarity, confidence, and ultimately joy.”
There’s no firm news of the follow up to 2018’s 5-star album ‘I’m All Ears’ yet, but you can check out the video for ‘Hall Of Mirrors’ below.
