Liam Gallagher has revealed more details of his debut album, ‘As You Were’.
The record is set to be released on October 6th. Four tracks on the record will be produced by Adele, Sia and Beck collaborator Greg Kurstin, who has also just worked on Foo Fighters’ new album ‘Concrete and Glass’. He’s responsible for recent single ‘Wall Of Glass’, plus ‘Paper Crown’, ‘Come Back To Me’ and ‘It Doesn’t Have To Be That Way’.
The rest of the record is produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat, who has Radiohead, Circa Waves and Mumford and Sons on his credit list.
“I didn’t want to be reinventing anything or going off on a space jazz odyssey,” says Liam. “It’s the Lennon ‘Cold Turkey’ vibe, The Stones, the classics. But done my way, now.”
Other tracks mentioned on the record include the “Bo Diddley-like” ‘Greedy Soul’ and “mega-ballad” ‘For What It’s Worth’, co-written with Simon Aldren of Cherry Ghost.
