Bringing a new message to the festive season, Liam Gallagher has unveiled latest single ‘All You’re Dreaming Of’
A defiant message of hope, it’s the first taste of new material since the release of his second solo album ‘Why Me, Why Not?’ last year
Net proceeds from the release of ‘All You’re Dreaming Of’ will go towards Action For Children – an organisation that provides practical and emotional support to children and young people, something particularly needed in a year like this. More info on Action For Children can be found here
Speaking about the track, co-writer Simon Aldred explains: “During the first lockdown when everything was looking uncertain and people were struggling to remain optimistic, Liam and I spoke about how there weren’t enough songs of hope. We set out to write a song that imagined a parent singing to their child about the importance of holding onto dreams and innocence, the capacity to disappear inside yourself and imagine a better future. A lullaby of hope. It was never meant to a Christmas song. But then Liam said, ‘I can see New York shop windows, and snow outside, this reminds me of being a kid at Christmas when life was normal.’ And so we reimagined it with that in mind.”
Liam Gallagher will round out 2020 with a big ‘ol livestream show on December 5th – with ‘Down By The River Thames’ featuring Liam and his band performing… y’know… on the River Thames. Tickets for the show are available here
