Liam Gallagher is going to drop a song from his upcoming new album next week, and has announced a small London show too

‘Why Me? Why Not.’ is coming later this year.

Liam Gallagher has announced he’s soon to drop a song from his upcoming new album.

‘Shockwave’ is taken from ‘Why Me? Why Not.’, and will arrive next Friday, 7th June. He’s going to play a small London show at Hackney Round Chapel to celebrate, on Wednesday 5th June.

“I’m buzzing,” says Liam. “Buzzing to be alive, buzzing to be making tunes, raring to go. It’s nice to be back with some new music because it means I can get out there, play some gigs and give some people some stick because that is what I do. Let’s face it, it’s boring without me.”

“It’s a better record than As You Were,” he adds. “Which is saying something, as that was epic, wasn’t it?”
