Liam Gallagher, who wasn’t going solo because he’s “not a c*nt”, announces 2017 solo album

  • Dork News Desk
  • August 25, 2016
A few days ago, in an interview with Q, Liam Gallagher said he wouldn’t go solo, because he’s “not a c*nt”.

Today, Liam Gallagher has announced his new deal, with a solo album due in 2017.

The former-Oasis frontman has inked a deal with Warner Music Group, joining a roster also featuring Royal Blood, Biffy Clyro, Muse, Dua Lipa and Foals.

Warner President Phil Critie describes the album he’s working on as “big, bold and heartfelt, and it feels important and culturally relevant”.

“Very excited to be signing to the mighty Warner Brothers,” Liam adds. “Looking forward to making some super sweet sounds. Keep the faith!”
