Liam Gallagher’s solo album is called ‘As You Were’, obviously

It was that or 'Noel You're A Potato LOL'. Probably.
Announcing via his favourite medium of Twitter, Liam Gallagher has now titled his upcoming debut solo album. Due for release at some point this year, ‘As You Were’ will be the ex-Oasis frontman’s first solo effort since his previous band Beady Eye called it a day.

Seemingly taking aim at brother Noel Gallagher, Liam tweeted “To all you you you haters out there and I know there’s only the 1 the name of my fab new record is AS YOU WERE”.

Not much is known of the album so far apart from it’ll be released via Warner records and will leave Noel fans with “nowhere to run or hide”, to quote the man himself. Let’s hope there are a couple of potato references somewhere on the album…

Liam is also set to play a few European festivals over the summer. Hopefully this means we’ll get a few UK dates before hand to hear some of this solo stuff.
