‘Lightenup’, Parcels have dropped a new track

It's taken from their forthcoming debut album, set to arrive next month.

Parcels have dropped a brand new track.

Titled ‘Lightenup’, the band’s latest offering is taken from their self-titled debut album, which is set for release on 12th October.

The Aussies describe the new cut as “disco and funk and classic grooving music.”

“It was an important song to us because the lyrics come from the voice of the band. Usually the lyrics are personal. But these ones are really coming from the band. That’s the most representative of us.”

You can check out the video for ‘Lightenup’ below.

Parcels hit the UK this November, where they’ll play shows in Manchester, Bristol, Leeds and London.

The dates read:

November
5 Manchester, Academy 2
6 Bristol, SWX
7 Leeds, Stylus
8 London, Roundhouse
